I often confuse the colors orange and green with eachother and I have since I was a kid. I'll say orange when I mean green and vice Versa. They almost feel like the same color in my head. Is this weird ? I thought I'd grow out of it but haven't
You're not color blind...you just say the wrong word...right? You are the ONLY person I've heard say they do that...except for me. I've done it all my life and ONLY with orange and green. I'll see something green and know it's the color green but the word orange comes out my mouth!

PEOPLE. Stop saying it's colorblindness. (S)he didn't say they look the same, but that they FEEL the same.
That's really interesting, its your feeling association with these colors that is getting mixed up. Not the vision of the colors themselves.
I'm pretty sure that I've mixed up words to colours in the past. More then likely, it is not the end of the world. It doesn't have to be because of a serious neurological condition. However, I'd it concerns you, you could go see a neurologist. Good luck anyway.
This happens to me all the time! I was just wondering about it and looked it up in the internet! I'm so happy to know that I'm not alone! lol I haven't yet found an answer to this weird behavior. If I find anything I will post it here!
Get tested. You can do the tests on line too. But I'm a little confused, do you know it's brown and say blue or do you think it's brown? Is it more of a guessing game for you or are you certain of the colour but just say the wrong word?? Get tested either way !
your colour blind, but you could be like my friend, Reid, who is partial colour blind. He knows what the differnces in colour are but he can't tell which is which when they are next to each other.I don't know if it is the same for full colour blindness or no.
could be color blindness bur I do thy samethig with yellow ad white I know the difference but I just miss speak so that's probaly it your just miss speaking
You're color blind. My brother is also, he can't tell the difference between purple and blue.
