Is it normal that i cant stand people eating with their mouths open?

Hello,

I know alot of noisy eaters. Sometimes I have to eat with them (meal out, ect) and I litelarry can't stand it. Its mainly when people their mouths open and you see their food churning around and you can hear their saliva slobbering and squelching all over it and the crunching aswell. I usually put my hands to my ears or sometime I even leave the room for a while. Is this normal?

    Yeah, I shouldn't have to SEE what you're eating. Ew, when my Dad eats steak he like slurps it up. It's gross. I can hear him slurping it.

    It's worse when people make that sound when they are not eating, sorta like wetting their mouth. Usually old people do that quite often.

    Ohhhh my biggest pet peeve by far. You are totally normal. They just eat like a bunch of fucking barn yard animals with no class at all. Also- i hate to hear people chomping on gum. It is just nasty!!!!

    when i can hear people smack, gobble, and slosh their food around in their mouths, take a hearty swallow and shovel more food in their mouths and repeat, all while staring at the TV with their expressionless faces, like they are not doing anything, IT MAKES ME GO CRAZYYYYYY

    Oh yeah! I can't stand it. Other times it's to a minimum and I can tolerate it, but most times I can't take it. Another thing I can't stand is when they're chewing with their mouth closed, they breath through their nose and is sooooo loud and nasally like they need to blow their nose. UGH. Ah, and don't get me started on slirping.lol.
