Is it normal that i cant sleep if my head isnt covered

When I go to bed at night, I have to sleep with a thick comforter covering me from head to toe. I take the blanket and completely wrap it around my head so that just a little hole at my nose so i can breath and the rest of the blanket has to be tucked in all around me so I cant feel any air coming in. I call it cucooning. It doesnt matter how hot it is outside I absolutely can not sleep with out doing this and it has caused alot of problems between me and my fiance because he wants to share a blanket but i feel too vulnurable if I dont and I actually get scared/anxious if I try to sleep with out doing this. Is it normal? Does anyone else do this?

Well like everyone keeps saying we all have sleeping habits. I need to sleep laying on my arm under the pillow (unless I'm laying on my back) my ex slept with a pillow on her head because she was afraid a spider would crawl into her mouth or nose it was cute the first night but we could never look into eachothers eyes

I used to feel the exact same way but with my feet. They had to be covered because I felt vulnerable and scared...like something was going to grab me. Is that silly? lol

This is normal. We all have different ways to sleep that've comfortable to us. But if it causes problems then maybe u could change it kittle by little until u get used to it
