She's obviously a little girl. Probably between 12&15 and telling her to "suck off her gym teacher" and "to f*** his brains out" isn't okay.
Sweety boys can be drama, needy, jealous etc. And could affect gymnastics, yes it's normal to be focused and driven on your dreams and aspirations. If you want a boyfriend take it nice and slow and never give up what you want for you for a boy ever.....

Well it depends on how much you love gymnastics. If you choose gymnastic you'l meet more people who have the passion that you do with the sport and mabey you might meet someone there. Your coach has a point but it really is for you to decide. If you believe the effort and time you put in is holding back your social life then you will always beleive that through out and will always have regrets and it might make it easier to quit. So really it comes down to how much you love gymnastics?

Go for someone who is as driven as you are or who is very VERY hardworking. He'll encourage you to work as well. He'll motivate you. Go for someone who has a passion to achieve.

Why does your coach have any say in your life? I'm sure you can keep a secret from your coach, can't you?

Actually, no I don't. Did he confront them? Did he kick her out of the gym and change the locks? Did he bludgeon the guy to death with a hammer for touching his girl? What?
And I fail to see how it is at all his business what you do with your personal life. He's your gymnastics coach, not your life coach. Hell, I'm pretty sure even a life coach would be overstepping their bounds in literally forbidding his pupil from fraternizing with the opposite sex. Now, I don't know this guy personally, but from the way you describe him and the way you react to him it sounds like this guy is very controlling and perhaps even manipulative.
Having a boyfriend may distract from your gymnastics, then again, it may not. But if it does, that's YOUR problem, not his.

I don't think your coach has the right to forbid you from having a boyfriend.

I find that hard to believe. In my opinion, he shouldn't try to control your personal life that much. If you ask me, the decision is yours to make, and yours alone.

If you can find a boyfriend who isn't too needy and understands you lead a busy life, your love life probably won't interfere with your gymnastics.

Your coach is completely right. This is true. Boyfriend is a lot of drama and takes up time. You are more efficuant when you are focused and not concentrating on "When can I go so I can go to lunch with him" or "Oh my god he broke up with me, I not going practice today".

No I know for a fact that relationships of any kind are drama. Ok have you ever watched those teen movies? They are very accurate. Be it boy or girl break ups create problems. If you are messing around with a girl/boyfriend you are going to not concentrate on school or sports. You are going to have bad grades. You will have to quit football or whatever sport you are doing. Have you never been in a relationship? Have you seen the stupid things people do in them? See how sad someone gets when someone they care about leaves them? You ever have a relationship? Have you ever heard of divorce? You think that is happy? This is common sense. How old are you?

Try to manage your time and I'm sure you can find a balance for boys and gymnastics. Since regionals are coming up I suggest focusing on gymnastics, but that still doesn't mean that you can't hang with guys. If there's a boy in particular that you have a crush on, try hanging out with him in school and after regionals see if maybe you could take the friendship a little further.

Are there any boys on your team? If so, you might want to get to know them. If not then you still have school, so I'm sure that perhaps you can be try to establish a good friendship. If you don't have gymnastics on the weekend then you can hang out with him then.
