Is it normal that i cant get him off my mind?

So i was at a party and got a little too tipsy and ended up fooling around with a friend. He has a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend. We agreed not to talk about it to anyone since we didnt plan on telling our partners about it. I dont want a relationship with him and i love my boyfriend. It was a mistake, but i cant stop thinking about him. Is this normal?

Oh and lying is probably the best option. If you tell the truth to make yourself feel better, that is honestly selfish. How would he feel knowing the truth? Biggest question is if you can stand the guilt

Yeah it's normal. Not love in anyway but infatuation, maybe the fact it was exciting due to it not being your bf. A quote I heard recently might help - "Don't leave the one you love for the one you like"

  • Sure - if you are somewhere between 12 an 20. Or what the heck, older. But shouldn't you know who you love, if in fact you do?

    Hey,
This happened to me too... and I really hate the guy who did that to me. It's going to be hard, but you'll just have to deal with it. Since you love your boyfriend so much, promise yourself that you won't do something like that ever again. For me, it was too much guilt, and I ended up telling my boyfriend about it... He has forgiven me, but things will never be the same. If you believe that you can stand lying to his face about it, then good luck (once you lie, keep lying till the end). But I truly believe honesty is the way to go; you'll feel better and gradually stop thinking about him.
