When she's zoning out, I ask her "Is this about _____?" and she says yes a lot. Is she just lying and not telling me about her real feelings or is she so close to me that I can tell what she feels?

I can read my friends mind too. I'm like "Jerry, are you looking at the clock?" and he responds with yes. I think I have this connection with him but in actuality I'm just staring at him.

I occasionally get mush mouth late at night or early in the morning and I have one friend who plays my interpreter. Like this:
me: "You know that guy in that thing where he dances"
my friend: "He's talking about the dancing scene in The Breakfast club."
Whenever I do this and my wife has no clue what I'm talking about I tell her to call this guy.
We all can do this. It's a perfectly natural ability that is becoming more and more pronounced in recent years. some don't want it to happen, others do. It's evolution. I've met others who could do it beyond question.
