Is it normal that i can't whistle?

I've never been able to, when I was a kid I tried to imitate my dad and brother as they whistled and I was reassured that I'd learn as I grew up but it never happened. No matter how much I try I can't do it. I only produce a whooosh sound.

    I can whistle two different ways! It takes muscle control. Your muscles are just weak.

    i can wistle one note not very well but i could never whistle a song

    I don't know how to whistle either. I can't even blow a gum or swallow a freaking pill.

    Count me in, in the non-whistling category. I don't feel it is abnormal, just something we cannot do, some can whistle while can do what they are good at. Makes us our own personal beings.

    i can't whistle either. i make that same whoosh sound. people have tried and tried to teach me, but it just doesn't happen. thank god i'm not the only one!

    I have a friend that can't whistle and i tell him it's cause he got the gay gene in the family! Think about it what do guys do when they see a hot chick? Whistle. Now why are you gonna need to whistle if you like dudes?! you dont, your gay!
