Who can't stop saying these jokes? I have to say that the person who made this up is a pure genius. Now tell me, what are you suppose to say when somebody says " Can you hand me that thing over there. "

It gets really old, really quick.
I know a guy who says it so much, he abbreviated it to "TWSS" (pronounced 'twihzz').
Ask yourself: Do you really want to become 'that guy'?
Yea I have this too, the joke can become quite circular and feed back on itself...
For example:
someone: I couldn't quite get it in
me: That's what she said
someone: Stop it, how old are you??
me: That's what she said

Well "Can you give me that thing over there" isn;t really funny if its a "That's what she said" joke. I understand you enjoying them, but saying them over regular things like that, is weird.... I have fun with them too, but not to that extent. Eventually, you'll run it into the ground if you don't lay off of them for a while. It will take the enjoyment out of it..
I have some friends who always say this. And i want to kill them.
So for your friends sake, STOP.
(If you dont have any friends now you know why.)
But really its super annoying and not funny any more. so try to stop.
I prefer "you're mum" or "you're face" jokes. "Thats irrelivent to the convosation."

Best told with a silly, dull, stupid voice and manner of speach.

These can be insulting but are best told to friends that dont give a crap.

YOUUUUUUUUUUU don't even know. Haha i started saying those jokes and found... it's a talent. Something you work at and then it just takes over. You'll be saying it all the fucking time without even thinking. Sometimes when im in inappropriate places i just whisper it under my breath. Lol :)

Yes, I still do it, too. It came from Beavis & Butthead back in 1993 or 94. It's just so hard to stop using such a great line, especially when someone gives you a great lead in like "god, it's so big!..."

I don't often say it, but I do think it a lot, like earlier today when my step mom said to my dad "You're not in all the way" (about him parking the van).

I've recently been into this and find myself constantly waiting for people to say things along the lines of "i find that hard to swallow" or "its too big and wont fit"
so yeah its normal.
It's fun playing with different combinations. Kind of like ending every sentence with "in my pants". You're perfectly normal in my pants. Oh. Wait. That's what she said.
Well, I can but it could be worst. We all do stupid little things when we are hyper or for a quick laugh and that is yours. At least you aren't me when I was a lot younger and say crap like "Heil Hitler" or "Long live the Fuhrer" when someone does something really stupid. That was hard for me to break.

There's nothing wrong with That's-what-she-said jokes as long as they're well-timed and actually relevant. Don't be one of those guys who use it at completely random times and think it's "funnier if it makes no sense." That's not funny. That's stupid.
I do that.. I'll be having a fight with someone and they'll say .. "ughh you're so irritating." And I'll say "thats not what you're mum said last night.". Even in general "Oh, you look really nice." "Ta, thats what your mum said too."
Or " You're so gay." "So's your mum." x
Yup it's pretty normal. Sometimes phrases get stuck in my head and I keep saying them even if I try not to. It happens to everyone at some stage.
