Is it normal that i can't stand people that use fake eye color?

I think they look tacky too, but you sound a bit silly when you associate dark skin with dark eyes because not all dark skinned people have dark eyes.

I understand. If a white person does it I feel like it's a little annoying but not a big deal but when African American or dark Hispanic or especially Indian (or middle eastern, egyptian etc) people do it I want to freak out and like die! It's so obviously fake! They just look so stupid and I wish someone would just tell them that they look ridiculous!

The thing is, people try to pass it off as "oh, it's my natural color," or maybe even "it's just a confidence boost, dont be mean," but you can tell, it looks tacky, and throws off their WHOLE face! Like, even if you get quality contacts,they usually just make your face look, wrong... I have a friend with olive skin and green eyes and it looks natural because it just ties her face together, but if one of my friends with the same skin an brown eyes was to wear them, i could tell, even if i didn't know her, since the brown suits her better (as peoples NATURAL color do most of the time)

I wear black out contact lenses, and crazy looking shit like that. As well as coloured. But I don't wear them so people will think it's real, I wear them because I like it, my boyfriend likes it and that's all that matters. Let people be who they want them to be and not how you picture them, mind your own business.

What about cosplayers? They use them to get the correct colour for the character they are portraying. I think contacts are fun although I've never used them myself. My cousin once had some that made her eyes look like cat-eyes but she was wearing them with her cat outfit for her Halloween birthday party.

I like my natural colour (green and amber) but I wore coloured contacts and grew my hair long. I think I was having some kind of crisis. Clear contacts and short hair all the way now.

omg, my friend does this. she has dark brown eyes and wears blue contacts which look absolutely ridiculous. the blue looks totally fake and doesnt go with her coloring at all.

I'm pretty sure the writer means the disguising type not the costume type, to conceal the true eyes color. Like why can't people be happy with their natural eye color, thats what I find tacky. It's a lot like when someone with really dark hair spends their life bleaching the crap outbid it.

hazel eyes = brown and green..sometimes the green stands out a lot more my brother has them. i have brown eyes with orange specs its like wtf O_o but yeah it's only really bad when people get the really fake bright blue contacts or something like <______<
