Yea it's totally normal. Only for me it's listening to my iPod. I literally can't sleep without listening to something. Which is not a good thing probabaly
Short is refreshing. Haha....totally normal. Sometimes the sound and light can keep the mind from racing.
turn that damn tv off.....i cant sleep with any light or noises...............u bastard
I have to sleep with the t.v. on. It's it's not on any little sound will wake me up.
I am the same, I fall asleep to a radio every night, otherwise I will toss and turn and won't get much sleep lol.
I usually can only sleep with a radio on in the background, and I always turn it to NPR talk radio to help me fall asleep.
I have this problem sometimes, too. Usually comes from being anxious about something. I find the TV a great meditation device - it either allows me to focus clearly on a single thing, or on something outside of my immediate surroundings. If there's a problem with this, it's that I find the TV robs me of REM sleep, so I don't feel rested. I've since switched to listening to soft piano music from the streaming music channels. Helps alot, and I usually get my REMS in.
It's normal. I have trouble falling asleep unless I watch a little TV first.
Wouldn't call it normal, but it's certainly common.
Some people liken it to the comfort of human voices (I can't imagine sleeping with conversation in the background).
It's an unfortunate downside to our generation. Try spending more time outside of your bedroom during the day.
