I am unable to sleep on my side without covering the ear that's not on the pillow with my hair because I'm scared that spiders will crawl down my ear if its exposed for the 7 hours I'm unconscience.
THIS IS ME LOL!!!!
I always have my hair in a bun while I sleep but I pull a few loose pieces out to cover my ears.
The fear is reaaaal.
Oh I never sleep without covering my ears too because I fear that an insect might crawl down my ear. I could have been the one writing this post. I thought I was the only one. I can't say if it's normal or not though.
SPIDERS...I like them! It's more likely to be a cockroach crawling in you're ear.

When I was a child the caterpillar fell down from the sling and entered my ear while I was sleeping,it caused a lot of pain,literally that became a trauma till now,and it effects the way I sleep.I thought it's abnormal but I think it's normal now but still I can't break that trauma.
Im scared of not covering my ear because I feel that bugs will go inside but also for some weird reason I always think I am going to get shot in the ear, I don't know why I think that
I do this too!! I thought I was just weird until I watched Untold Stories iof the ER and I'm scated little bugs will crawl in my ear. I also clean my ears every day just in case!! Haha now I kniw I'm not the only one!!!
I do this too. One almost got in. I woke up and killed it. It's scared me to the point where I have to sleep with my head under my comforter now. It was tickling my ear but didn't enter my canal. Thank goodness. It's very normal IMO.
