Is it normal that i can't run 1/2 a mile in less than 4 minutes?
In my P.E. class, everybody has to do a timed run every Thursday. The girls have to get between 3:45 and 4:00 to get an "A", 4:00 and 4:30 to get a "B". But here's the problem; I could run for so long I feel like I'd fall to the ground in exhaustion... yet I'd end up with a "B". Is this normal or are the running expectations a tad unrealistic? If you REALLY believe I'm fat or unfit because I can't run that fast, go ahead and say it. I want your honest opinions/answers.
