Is it normal that i can't poop every day anymore ?

Hello,
I am a male 21 years old and I can't poop every day.
I had 2-3 months ago diarrhea for 2 months, then I was pooping the same time every day and now I can't poop everyday anymore, only every other day. I don't feel anything strange like discomfort, pain, bloating etc. In fact, I don't have an urge to poop everyday, and If I get, I can't stimulate peristalsis thanks to that weak urge. I this normal to poop every other day while in the past I was pooping almost every day ?
Thanks.

I can't think that there was ever a point in my life where I'd poop every day.

I always just poop whenever I need to, which usually turns out to be every other day.
I have a healthy diet and a relatively fast metabolism.
If it works for a healthy average guy like myself, it must be normal.

If you're not getting constipated, then there's nothing to worry about.
I actually think it's more convenient to not have to shit as often.

I have also tried all the diarrhea-producing foods like :
    (All these in a day)

    In the morning :
    2 glasses of water and
one cup of musli cereal with rye flakes

    In the afternoon :
2 glasses of water and 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed in a probiotic yogurt. 2 dried figs and 3 dried apricots.

In the afternoon until midnight :
Green/Rooibos tea with honey x2, 10-12 dried goji berries, sometimes I jog for 30 minutes and 2-3 glasses of water in this period.

I would expect a strong diarrhea from all this, but it has not affected anything. Almost same time every other day with soft stools.
I think my digestive track became slow for a reason.

I don't have constipation issues. When it's time to poop every other day, the stools are soft and go out easily. I just don't have the urge to poop everyday.
I tried milk of magnesia (a 50ml strong dose), It did the job in 3 hours, as long as and the second day. After that, here I am again, pooping every other day.
I guess it's normal or I have IBS.

Pooping everyday is more unusual then what you discribed just now.

  • Pooping once every two days is normal for a human.

    Things to consider:

-What is your diet like; what foods do you eat, and what are your meal schedules like?

    -How high is your metabolism?

-Do you exercise on a regular basis?

If anything, you could go to a health food store or something and get some colon cleaner supplement. It's all natural stuff. You'll poop your brains out, trust me.
