Is it normal that i can't meet girls?

It's so hard to talk to girls, I'm very shy. Not ugly by any means, just not confident.

I'm 19. 146 lbs. 5'9.

I had a 10 month long relationship that ended horribly by her dumping me and I don't know why. (Which was a year and a half ago) Maybe because I'm not very talkative and shy.

is it normal that I find near impossible to find a find a girl that I can talk to and call mine?

Aw... I find shy guys rather cute truthfully.

But it's normal, you'll eventually find someone. Just be patient and I'm sure the girls are nervous also if you do try to get to know any.

Just find signals that they like you and give off signals.

Make eye contact with a girl you like. It's pretty easy to tell if someone finds you attractive or likes you if you catch them staring at you and your eyes meet for a split second and they look away/smile. I'm sure you know that already though. ^.^

If you see a girl you like regularly (work, school, with friends) then say hi to her or ask her for help with something or ask her opinion on something nonchalantly. Maybe if you're too shy to ask for her number or w/e then she might. You never know.

Worse comes to worse you can try online dating.

Even shy people can open up to someone. It sounds like she was the wrong person for you.

Repetition is the father of learning. The guys that get ass all the time, get ass because they try to get ass. Simple as that.

Work on it then. Do whatever it takes. See a psychologist they help with that stuff too.
