Is it normal that i can't get over my ex from 4 years ago?

It's been like 4 years since he broke up with me, I have had other relationships, but he never leaves my mind, it's like I'm so in love with him, I can't get over him... I felt like he really loved me when we were together! At some point before breaking up with me he went through a lot of trouble in his life, and he drifted away, and only came back to break up with me, I was really devastated, he didn't give me a clear reason why, he just said he's sorry. the end. I tried to get closure later on, but he said he couldn't give me reasons he didn't even remember. I can't let go, sometimes I feel like he still loves me. Is this normal?

    You have to move on. If he was the right one, you would still be together.

    Lonelylez is right also, if it's habit for you to be stuck on people like this for such a long time you might have Limerence, a disorder when you can't get over heart break:
