Is it normal that i can't forgive myself?

All my life I was good, never screwed up or anything. I went to college and I started screwing up. I got drunk a few times, I've realized that my friends secretly can't stand me, and I am barely passing in school. Is it normal that I can't forgive myself for any of this?

Things like this happen to me every spring semester. It's nice to have friends in college, but your main objective should be to learn and succeed.

Let me tell you something. If your friends secretly dislike you, and won't confront you about it, then you do it. It's better to let it out than have this tension build into dangerous proportions. Have a sit down with them.

We all make mistakes my friend, you're no worse than they are. That's how we progress... Did you even like getting drunk? If you think you're much better than your actions then prove it. Not for others but for yourself.

Don't worry, most people get this in college. There's usually one in high school too. It will pass soon, if you try to get out of the funk! :)
