Is it normal that i can't find the courage?

Hello everyone. So, for the past 7 months or so, I have found myself growing fond of a girl in my college band. It started as just a small attraction, but as time progressed, I found myself liking her even more. Now from what I've heard from friends, is that she is very nice and she is a true christian (as am I). But the strange thing, is that over these past 7 months, I have never been able to say more than a word to her, other than when a friend stole my phone and messaged her "I like you" via Facebook. Other than that, I have never physically said a word to her. Within this past week, a person in the band found out that I like her and announced to me that she is extremely desperate. Even with this information, I can't seem to muster up the courage to even talk to her, let alone ask her out. Is this normal?

    You will regret it so much if you don't take this opportunity. I was in similar shoes 10 months ago, and I asked a similar question on IIN. I took their advice, asked that girl out and we've been together for 9 months now. And that makes me very happy. You will regret it a lot if you don't take your chance.

    You have nothing to lose, so just do it. Next chance you get, you will go up to her and you will talk to her and it will go well. Don't even think about it. Just do it.

    Just ask her, god damn! Do you know how short life is? I'd say there are more potential problems if she says yes than if she says no!

    Haha ever seen we bought a zoo? ALL IT TAKES IS 20 SECONDS OF INSANELY EMBARRASSING COURAGE AND AS PROMISED, SOMETHING GREAT WILL COME OF IT!!! You can do it!!! If you can't verbally or physically say anything then make or write something!! Good luck!!! ;)
