Is it normal that i can't fall asleep with my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for over 2 years. We live separately but sleep over on the weekends. I've never been able to fall asleep in the same bed with him. There's no single reason, it's just a combination of little reasons, like it's more comfortable not to have someone's arm under you, it's nice to have the covers to wrap around yourself, not having to hear him breathe or move, not worrying about moving around myself, etc. Every time I end up going in a bed in another room to sleep.

IIN?

Also, would it be a dealbreaker for you if your GF/BF couldn't fall asleep with you?

i sleep better with a boyfriend then i do on my own, even when i'm single. if someone couldn't get to sleep with me i'd probably be pretty upset, hasn't happened yet though!

I could never fall asleep with my x.... And like even when I was younger if I stayed at a friends house I could never sleep... But for some reason I sleep better when I sleep with my current bf.... Which is deffinatly a good thing I think :) but no I'd say it's normal... And as far as it being a deal breaker I think it depends on the petson

I think it's pretty normal. I can't sleep in the same bed as other guys either, lots of small things distract me. I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker; you guys could always get separate beds or even separate rooms.
