Is it normal that i can't drink the last bit of milk from the carton

Whenever I go into the fridge to get some milk for my cereal, if there is not much milk left, I can't drink it. If I start pouring and I need all the milk in the carton, I will stop pouring, throw away the nearly finished carton and open a new one to continue.
