i just can't figure it out, why there are people love to do cosplay, they dress themself ridiculous, wearing low-priced, low quality stuff... image they are from the manga, well, i dont hate manga, i read it when i was little.
is it normal that I can't accept people doing cosplay?
I don't get why this even matters. Get on with your life and let them get on with theirs. But accepting our differences and getting along is too radical, isn't it? ;)
I don't understand why people dress up in jerseys and body paint at football games! I don't get why people dress up in poofy dresses and go to renaissance festivals!
Fans are fans no matter what they're geeking out to.
And everyone knows dress up is fun.
I'd never heard of cos or larping but I just did a bit of googling - fantastic, grownups dressing up like kids and playing! There should be more of it and more and more ...
Wd you critics prefer they sit on their bums in front of the TV or the computer or whatever, isolated from other human beings, or run around doing destructive things?

Now to the OP I am not a cosplayer but on behalf of them "FUCK YOU"! I am so sick of seeing posts of people pissed off about someone being different. Yeah you dont like anime. Whoopee for you dickwipe. There is probobly people who do not like the stuff you are into either. So get the fuck off that high horse of yours.
Look into LARPing. If you struggle to accept Cosplay, you'll LOVE Larping.
I'm with ya I also hate all the teens this day you might aswell wear no pants they are down so low it's like you wanna be penetrated in the ass
maybe "ridiculous," but "low-priced" and "low-quality" are FAR from the truth. many cosplayers either make their costumes themselves or buy them at really high prices. and they don't necessarily imagine themselves as manga characters. cosplayers just want to express their love of manga in a fun way.
My friend is into it. It's entertainment for people and personal hobbies. I find it cool that they spend many hours making their cosplay and then all meet up to the event and have fun. I would never do it though but I hear you meet lots of young ladies who are single.

The fact it's a culture and lifestyle is ridiculous. If it were a one day competition it'd be fine, like a sandcastle contest. But people do it all the time, it's frequent in places like Harajuku, and people waste so much time and money on it.
