Is it normal that i can smell germs inside me when i'm sick?

Whenever I get strep, I smell this strange scent in my sinuses. It smells a bit like burnt milk or porridge...but worse. I can only smell it when I breathe in deeply and quickly. I can predict when I have strep because of this, I can smell it before I get symptoms. INN?

I'm the same way. The bacteria in your body has a scent. I can also smell a certain scent from my skin when I'm about to puke or have recently puked. I can't explain that one.

I get this too! If I'm ill and I try to breath up through my nostrils, there's this weird "green mucus" smell. It's like yogurt mixed with paint and some other things. I thought I was the only one.

This would be a symptom. But overgrown strep can smell like almost any overgrown bacteria in the body. When you start to smell it, drink lots of fluid and take vitamin C every hour to boost the immune system. I like Emergen-C for this.

Sometimes when i get sick my sense of smell goes all out of whack. Perhaps you are the same way. It's just your body's way of telling you to prepare for what's to come.
