If you seriously think you have this ability, write down your dream-predictions, post them online, then post the undeniable proof of the predicted event happening when it does.

Ambiguity will not be taken seriously e.g. "I dreamt someone died, then later that year somebody did!" "I dreamt about a dog, then the next day I saw exactly the same dog!"

If your dream-predictions are specific and accurate, for example "In June 2011 I dreamt that at 3:54 pm on 23 July 2011 Amy Winehouse would be pronounced dead, and she was", then people will take you seriously.

Go ahead, start a blog or something.

No one can see into the future, as far as exact events goes. We do, however have the ability to predict some future events, with a certain amount of accuracy. We can also alter present events, thus changing future events.
EXCEPT and UNLESS two or more advanced technologically sophisticated creatures made an agreement. One stays in this temporal realm and the other enters into an accelerated temporal realm. The accelerated one would record your life events, then communicate with you through the Quark Realm. Possible, yes. Ethical, no.

Exactly, what is the "Quark Realm"? The term sounds familiar...

I am not able to explain to you exactly what the Quark Realm is, i am not allowed to, as you would not understand it, but other people might. I apologise for this. It requires a fundamental shift in understanding our Universe, something that has been missed. It is important to understand that quarks are the fundamental constituent of all massenergy in the Universe. There are 6 different types called flavors and their 6 antiquark counterparts. They combine to form subatomiic particles, which in turn group to form atoms. It is important to understand how quarks form, in order to understand the Quark Realm.

What are you allowed to say?

          Also, it's quite alright.

I am allowed to say, that you need to understand Albert Einstein's General and Special Theories of Relativity, but there is something that dear Albert missed. You will also need to understand a few concepts in Quantum Mechanics. You will also need to understand the 'Big Bang Theory', which wasn't a big bang at all, and solve the inconsistencies in it, namely; where the original massenergy came from, if it began as a singularity why are we here, why the universe is expanding and accelerating. You will also need to explain the dark massenergy problem in this. Plus a few other thimgs I can not elaborate on, but that I asked myself some simple questions on these and other thimgs like on the behaviour of electromagnetic particles.

There's actually a fantastic scientific cause of Deja Vu that explains it perfectly and debunks it's relevance to actual foresight, but I forgot it.

So just pretend I posted a factual, scientific and intellectually enlightening post instead.

      • Is there?
        Ah, ok, I'll pretend.

Really? I never knew about that, now I do. I'm glad you explained that to me, I wouldn't of figured out without someone informing me.
        Is that any good?

But on a more serious note, I think I heard of that, too. I think it has something to do with the brain releasing some sort of chemical that makes you think you have seen it before when you actually haven't. Not sure if that's what you meant.

Yeah, that's what it was. I can't remember the exact mechanisms of it, though.

Deja vu can be argued as a glitch in memory formation. Your brain categorizes it in the long term memory bank and not the short term. People who do this often are also prone to seizures and it is often hereditary. But I have no idea where I heard this so don't quote me.

Glitch or not, I think it's still fascinating. Our brains are vastly uncharted and capable of astonishing things. Why not psychic dreams? Maybe we're defining psychic wrong.

    That depends.

I mean... I dreamt I was at work, dealing with IP addresses once. And o look I went to work and I got to work with IP addresses. I'm clairvoyant right?

Not really. Working with IP addresses was part of my job at the time and... I'd been doing a lot of it.

It's not that I'm skeptical though... It's just that I think many people apply "omg i can predict the future" from generic dreams of things that happen normally anyway.

Like dreaming it's going to rain... in a rainy season.

I usually have this too. Problem is it always is a prediction of someone's death or something bad happening in my community. Always turns out true... Every exact detail. I have even been to psychic expos without talkin to anybody and I get mediums coming up to me talking about my "gift" some cringe and hurriedly walk away from me and my "bad energy"
