Is it normal that i can remember everything?

So, the other day I saw a commercial for that new show where the girl can remember everything, which is related to what I can do: remember everything. This has been happening since well I could remember (about 2ish)I can remember every date from my past and I sometimes have sped up versions of them in my sleep. Sometimes I daydream about a specific date and can remember everything as if it was a video. Is this normal?

Its not normal, but it can happen. I was watching a tv special and the actress Marilu Henner and others have this. For me, im glad i dont remember everything. Some things are best forgotten.

I was on my way home from my school laughing my ass of because on the news this male strip club owner was found dead in his jail cell. I wasnt laughing because he died, just that he was a male strip club owner. In that specific minute I was riding down 21 highway and I had loaded my new Black Album by Metallica. I got more but im probably boring you

I'm similar - however I don't relate things to dates - I rarely know what day of the week it is let alone the date.

I'm interested to enhance my thoughts to try and remember things better as I feel I could be 'eidetic' but I'm not sure I'm quite there yet! :(

I have a near-eidetic memory for some things and a totally hopeless one for others. I could instantly tell you the capital of any country of the world (even new ones like South Sudan and Timor-Leste) but I'm bad at remembering the shapes of them or where things are on maps.

This sounds exactly like me! I remember stupid amounts of things but in long-term its as if I have no control! I really want to be able to make it more efficient but I just don't know how!
