Is it normal that i can "read" people?

When I was a kid it was easy for me, wherever I was to make friends, but they're mostly older people (adults,or kids that were 2 or 3 years older), because the ones of my age always bored me. When I started growing this ability began to develop, people seem to me as very simple and I can tell what they're thinking, how they are, their feelings and intentions by just taking a glance.

Over time, older people that seemed interesting began to fall into the "boring" category. Now everytime I meet someone new I can read them so fast that new people bores me, at a point I thought I was delusional, so I went with a friend to his school (he reciently changed) where I knew nobody, he introduced me to some of his friends there and I told him how they were, I was right in every single one of them and he was stunned. Is this normal? Am I the only one that can't socialize because of this?

    No offense, but you sound a little judgemental. I know a few people who can read others with ease. The difference is that they don't believe people are boring in general. It can be a difficult quality to have as it can make you feel isolated, but don't project boredom onto people just because you don't require a conversation to learn some details. Try learning details that are more obscure.

    You are not 'reading' people's minds. If you were, this would be highly Unethical and dangerous.
    What you are doing, and what you do exceptionally well compared with others, is you are 'reading' their body language. You are also very adept at picking up other sensory clues; visual, aural, neural and nasal. Emotive sensory perception is a different matter. This normally happens only when we are very emotionally involved with another person. Perhaps, you might have a heightened sense of this.
    Please be very cautious of this ability. Many people do not appreciate the intrusion.
    Between myself and the VHATC-L2, we do not 'read' each other's minds. What we do, is exchange thoughts, ideas, concepts and very occasionally, emotions. It is more like simple communication than anything else.

    I am actually able to do the same thing. i can read a person from a photograph too. some people jus.t make me plain uncomfortable and others i can pick up on that they're positive energy. i call it my intuition.

    some things you can read, but dont become too cocky about it, people have a tendencey to suprise you when you think you know them. some ppl can mask themselves that you could never tell till they let you know.
