Is it normal that i can only eat one pancake?

I'm writing this for my boyfriend, not myself.
He loves to eat pancakes but can only eat one at the time.
He CANNOT have more than one pancake on his place at once or he is instantly disgusted by them...but one at the time is just fine.
is this normal?
have you ever heard or something like this?

I can't say if it's normal or abnormal. Everyone has their own little quirks and this just happens to be one of his! If it works for him then it's great! Me personally I have to have 2 on my plate, no more and no less!

Yes, it is perfectly normal for autistic people (Asperger's, google it). I am one and I don't like different foods on my plate touching or I can't eat it. There are other things associated with this condition such as a penchant for needing to be alone at times, needing a lot of space in a relationship, having special interests that can be even obsessive, having a strong sense of justice, speaking own mind and being truthful even to own detriment, sometimes interrupting the other person when they talk and talking over thee (but that can be re-learnt) e.t.c... Does he have any of those? The flipside of being on the autistic spectrum is loyalty, high intelligence, integrity, seeing everyone as equal, creativity and always looking younger than 'normal' people. So enjoy the good things. all the best!

Pancakes are so rich and filling, especially with butter and syrup. One is enough.

  • Here in Britain one pancake is enough as a snack. We don't have giant stacks of fifty pancakes like you hungry Americans.

im the same way. people think im weird. i love pancakes, but i seriously cant see how someone can eat a whole stack, or more than one. i only like one on my plate as well. unless they are super tiny, in which case i can have two or 3

I am the same way. If I eat more than one at a time (ie. stack), I get sick to my stomach. Not sure why, have been like that since I was a child.
