Is it normal that i can not lose weight no matter what i do?

Over the years i have tried dieting, throwing up, eating less, eating more fruit and vegetables, not eating at all for days at a time, going vegan, excersizing vigirously... i have even tried diet pills! Literally nothing can shift my weight. I am 4'11 and weigh 170 pounds. I just feel so ugly and annoyed with my appearance all the time, people think i'm overweight because i'm lazy but i'm not in the slightest! My breasts don't help with my appearance either, I am a G cup and any loose shirts i wear just make me look fatter because my breasts push the shirt out, giving me a box-like appearance. I barely have any clothes that suit me and i get extremely upset sometimes when i see my reflection... it has gotten to the point that i have removed all mirrors from my house except a small makeup mirror because i can't stand my reflection... is it normal that i weigh this much yet nothing i do will shift it?

170 pounds and you have a G cup, that actually sounds hot to me.

But seriously, you should talk to a Doctor, you might have a Thyroid problem or a hormonal problem.

You probably didn't stick to any of your attempts for very long which is good for a few of them such as the diet pills and vomiting but a healthy diet and regular exercise and activity absolutely work if your body is burning more calories than it is taking in it has no choice but to lose weight. I understand that watching the calories tick by on the treadmill can be discouraging so find something you enjoy and make it part of your lifestyle I'm sure you will succeed if you really try good luck

Own it! There is NO REASON you have to fit a certain number if you are healthy. Ditch the diet pills. QUIT vomiting. Don't hide in baggy shirts. Bring your mirrors back.
I have the opposite problem. I am 95 lbs and 5'4 and I felt so embarrassed and I could not gain weight over anything. People kept telling me I looked unhealthy. I went to the doctor and got a full check up. I WAS healthy. So now I just try to look my best and ignore the haters. My BF thinks I'm sexy. There are TONS of guys who would LOVE a cute little busty thick chick like you. OWN IT!

One thing I have learned is that dieting and not eating are counter productive to losing weight. If your body feels that the food intake is not sufficient for it's needs, it will store food, in the form of fat, anticipating starvation. This is natural. To break this cycle, it is suggested that one eat many very small meals every day, at regular times.
After a while your system will understand that starvation is not likely and begin shedding the safety net (your fat) that it has accumulated over a lifetime of poor eating habits. You will never be hungry and yet you will be shedding pounds at a good rate. This will not happen overnight, nor will it happen without exercise.
I would also suggest that you contact a dietician. The dietician can help you design an eating regimen that will give you the maximum health benefits from these tiny meals, with a minimum of 'empty' calories.
    Good luck.

I'm guessing you didn't stick to anything you tried before because you didn't get immediate results. A combination of regular exercise and healthy, small meals would be the best way to make you lose weight healthy. But it will take effort and time. If you haven't lost weight after a few months of this you should visit a doctor. You may have a thyroid problem or some other health issue that would prevent you from being able to loose weight.
