Is it normal that i can listen to music for like 4hours non-stop?

I hear a new song that I like, and I will listen to it over and over and over again and I won't get tired of it for months. Is this normal? The same for movies and books.

    yeah at first i listen to a new song on repeat for around an hour while i game or something.

    YESS when im obsessed with something i can go a few weeks caught on one topic happens to me with bands and movies all the time

    I like songs that go for 30 minutes and 4 hours is only 8 runs through. I could deal with that.
    But a 3 minute song. 80 times in 4 hours. I couldn't stand that! I like listening to new music. I leave my favourites to times i need extra feel good impact!

    I do the same thing with new bands and songs but not movies and books, those just take to long to go over again x)

    I think it depends on the person, really - I know a few people (including myself) who can spam the same song over and over for weeks!
    I never get tired of my favourites =]
