...dog whistles? I've always been able to hear dog whistles. I fucking hate when people blow them because it hurts my ears so damn much. Having exelent hearing can get really annoying at times.
Doesn't mean you have great hearing. My hearing is great and I hear them too, but even my father who is half deaf can hear them. Why? Half of the dog whistles sold today can be heard by the human ear. Also, certain pitches can be heard forever..
Some people can hear higher frequencies of sound than the average man, children especially. So younger people tend to be able to hear such sounds.
All ears can pick up a slightly or in your case great differnce than rhe other ears of the globe.
God, I hate dog whistles! The worst is when your friends go around school with them to see if they can attract a dog -.- trust me it doesn't work.
I believe it! My hearing is horrible but I'm the same way with smells- I can smell things that no one else can (except bloodhounds maybe!)
Don't listen to BoredGuy. I'm not quite able to hear dog whistles, but I can hear some very high frequencies that my parents can't. It goes away with age.
