pain is something your brain creates. if you dream of pain your brain creates it. obvious if you were stabbed in the stomach you didnt wake up with a bleeding hole did you? but I bet you stomach certaintly hurt or felt funny for awhile till you just forgot about it.

If any of you have had dreams like I do, you wouldn't be complaining. For an entire week, I have had dreams that are so realistic that if I get hurt or anything in the dream, when I wake up, the places I got hurt in the dream still hurt all day. I also often have bruises in those places. Sometimes, most of the dream is good. Other times, I just want to wake up. Sometimes I don't even know if I'm dreaming or not. I can feel everything. Not only pain. Just last night, I had another one of these dreams. In it, I was out with my family at a movie. I don't remember what the movie was, but that doesn't matter. We were back near our cars, yes we had two of them because I was going somewhere else, and we saw a family friend by his car. We were talking to him, when he said he smelled gas fumes from his car. He told us to get out of the way and he was going to try to get as far away as possible before the car blew. He drove out of the lot we were in as fast as he could. Aparently there was only one way to get out of the entire lot and it required almost going in circles to get there. The path came back around near the lot where we were. Kind of like a twisting and turning path. We could see his car about one hundred yards away when it blew up. A tire flew threw the air and passed within a foot of my neck. I could feel the heat. Right after that, my alarm went off and tore me from the dream. I woke up gasping for air and crying. I can still feel the heat from the flaming tire on my neck. I hope none of you have an experience quite like that. This is the first time that I have had a dream this bad.

Its normal to feel things in your dreams. Granted, not every dream has feeling, but it is the most comnnon sense in dreams next to sight and hearing. Not too long ago, I had a dream that even had a smell. I could smell the dusty old ledge in a abandoned house i was in.
