Is it normal that i call my little sister "baby"?

My little sister is 12 years younger than me. And out of habit, or something, I call her "baby", as well as other similar nicknames. Baby, darling, sweetie, honey, etc., are all names I call her. Is it normal?

Freud would have had a ball dissecting this. I'd bet he would say you underneath it all want to bone all your sister's bodily orifices.

Why not. It's normal for parents and since you are that much older then her you're in a similar position.

How old is your sister and does she mind you calling her that?

She's seven, and she doesn't seem to mind.

    Why wouldn't that be normal?

Some people call their lovers those names, but it's not completely uncommon to hear them from family members either. Though, they are said in completely different ways I think.
