Is it normal that i bite my fingernails so much they bleed?

Ever since i was little i've been a compulsive fingernail biter. I bite them when i do not even realise it and even when im falling asleep. I know it is a dirty habit but germs do not bother me much. They just bleed and bleed but i keep biting, then are the shortest fingernails you would have ever seen i guarentee it. At the moment for example my pinky fingernail is no longer then 2 mm long!

    No. There's always the riverbanks technique. You wear a riverbanks around your wrist and whenever you feel the urge to bite your nails, all you have to do is twang the rubber band against your wrist. The thing is is that the sting can get to be a little addictive. ;)

      there is now a special formula, you apply it like nail polish, and it tastes like ass, it stops you biting, ,

    its normal, but not a good sitution. its only going to end in tears for someone or everyone.

    How could you possibly think that's normal!!!
    Biting them is normal, but makin em bleed???
