Is it normal that i believe tv blows?

It used to be ALOT better back in the day. Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickolodeon, and other rad channels. Nowadays though it's so stupid, educational (you know, for kids even though there's already educational things online and actual school), and uninspired. It's very sad TV came to this state. What I'd like to see is everyone rioting at the Big TV Producers/Managers and getting them to bring back all the good cartoons and shows from Yesteryear. Otherwise, TV ain't worth watching and it amazes me that those Greedy Assholes are still getting views/money for their crappy services as TV Channel and Show Providers.

The quality of television and movies has decreased dramatically, but it seems to be more "normal" to reject and criticize television, but not the film industry.

I have no idea why, but a few cheesy high-budget special effects seem to woo people into thinking the crap they're watching on the big screen is genius. The scripts and acting in most modern Hollywood films is atrocious. Not to mention the vast majority of blockbusters these days aren't original ideas, but crappy remakes or based on books, games, or comics. The creative well really has run dry it seems.

Maybe there will be a second golden age for the entertainment industry when the general public finally tires of fake, melodramatic reality shows and juvenile superhero movies.

    *sigh*

Yep, 90's kids shows were so much better! I do kind of like Sportacus, though... It's entertaining and teaches me how to eat healthy!

But some shows are good because they have a big story like Gravity Falls, that show is absolutely lovely and has really good character development, the creators of it put a lot of effort in it. I am a big Gravity Falls nerd

Some people think we nineties kids are just being nostalgic, but when I babysit my little cousin, all he wants to watch now are nineties shows on the internet. He's addicted to Rocko's Modern Life, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, DuckTales, and Aladdin.
