I don't think you can really compare the two. One is unimaginably more difficult, more expensive and more demanding than the other, and also has much higher stakes to society (there's a negative outcome if your child grows up to be a mass criminal, and a positive outcome if your child discovers a universal cure for cancer :P). They're just too different to say "these type of people are superior".
