Is it normal that i avoid relationships with women?

I am male, attracted to women and occasionally (not always) enjoy feminine company, as well as sex. However, I consistently avoid personal relationships with women. Whenever a girl shows interest in me I usually balk at the prospect of initiating a relationship with her, romantic or otherwise. In fact, I would rather pay for sex than go through the trouble of getting to know someone and nailing her.
BTW, I am not a virgin and not gay.

    Why do you avoid relationships with women? IMO it's not normal unless you're uncomfortable talking to them or have trust issues from prior relationships.

      I think it's because I'm afraid of relationships, or they make me feel uncomfortable. I have no idea why this is so.

        Ah, well a lot of people are like that. Relationships are uncomfortable at first and unfortunately there is always a risk of getting hurt. If you're happy without a relationship and are content with casual sex don't worry about it.

        If you do want to overcome it, treat a relationship as just a friendship. It's much easier that way. I had to do that to get over being burned pretty bad in the past and now I'm very happy in my current relationship and trust her completely.
