Is it normal that i avoid doctors at all costs?

I tend to always be a bit sore. Kind of achy. It hurts to sit down more than it does to stay standing but then I get tired from standing up all day. I have a few suspicions as to why it happens. I am pretty skinny, 5'9 and 103 pounds I have no idea if lack of extra fat even has to do with comfort but it is an idea. I was wondering about rickets or something else too but no matter what it is I don't want to see the doctor for it. I can tell it is getting worse but it is still manageable with some extra ibruprophen. I just really really don't want to go to the doctor. I can hardly think of anything I hate more that that. I am being a big baby about it but that doesn't change my mind.
Do any of you know some things to just fix me up without having to take a trip to a sterilized murder scene?

figure it out at home 7

Well Ricket's is a disease that is caused by the lack of Vitamin D. So if you think you have that, then I would fill up on your Vitamin D, because that is a disease that can be cured (much like Scurvy, which is the lack of Vitamin C). But even then, you should probably see a doctor.

And Ibuprofen is great for pain, but bad to constantly use.

I can't really elaborate too much, but to be honest, if I were you, I'd go to a doctor. Tough it up and deal with it or it could be a lot worse. Good luck.

what your describing doesn't sound normal, for any person.

do you sit or lay down a whole lot?

It's a condition known as having no insurance.

I should also mention that its possible your BMI has taken a toll on the cartilage in your joints. Is it a muscle ache, or a joint ache? If its a joint ache, you could try some glucosamine and chondroitin supplements, to help your joints. The problem with ibuprofen is that it treats the inflammation, not the cause of the pain.

Sterilized murder scene? Sorry but this sort of suggests that the hospital is a clean place.

"Sterilized murder scene"? If you are that afraid of the doctor's office, you can always try an in-home or phone consultation. Or sign up for Angie's List. & remember you can always leave an office or refuse the medication they prescribe... No one is forcing you! :-) The problem with asking us is we have no medical training (that you know of or that we could prove) so asking random people online is probably not going to help you.

Asking the pharmacist is also a good idea.

Rickets is on the increase due to video games, teens are not getting enough sunlight for vitamin D - so get outside as much as possible.

Ask to speak to the pharmacist in the chemist, they are extremely well qualified and have seen most symptoms before and know what helps.

You are very underweight and when I was, I couldn't even sleep at night coz my bones were sore jutting into the mattress. I think you should definitely try to put on some weight and be more healthy.
