Is it normal that i attract the wrong guys

No matter what, I seem to attract the worst type of people. And what I mean by that, are narcissists, douchebags, assholes, whatever you want to call them. Cant say because of my appearance, I am attractive but I do not flaunt it such as wearing revealing clothes.

Maybe it's my attitude because I tend to joke around too much or if I'm not I act like a jerk and I am overly confident about myself.

I prefer reserved nice guys, but they don't have an interest in me at all probably because my attitude is aggressive is what I assume.

Is this normal? Anyone else have this issue?

    Nice guys are smart enough to know a girl like you would try to walk all over them.
    Soooo if you act like a jerk, why are you surprised when you end up with a jerk?

      @question person. There's nothing wrong with a jocular attitude or a healthy dose of self-confidence (careful with too much though. There's a reason the Greeks and the ancients like to warn about hubris and "Pride goeth before the fall"). Being a jerk though? Yeah. No one likes jerks. There's a reason no one likes jerks. And even if they weren't jerks before, they'd soon turn into one if you're one to them (See: Social psychology-reciprocity)

    i know just what your going through. 90% of all my past girlfriends was the same way. And i am a really nice guy (so most women tell me).
