Is it normal that i attract nerdy boys?

Whenever I've found out a boy has had a crush on me, it's always been the quiet, intelligent, slightly socially awkward one.
I'm okay looking, i think, i'm quite talkative and I like to think I'm nice and friendly.
I thought maybe it was because if they talked to me I would be happy to talk back when other girls may not be as keen. But then a few of them who have liked me are ones I've barely talked to.
Does anyone else have this trend in their crush patterns? any ideas?

    I love geeks but all I attract is black and old people (must be my hips :/)

    The geeks I wished liked me go for the pretty and sporty chicks. For being so intelligent, why can't they see those types of girls are crappy matches for them???

    That happens the same to me it's weird and sometimes I get abit annoyed by it but you just have to live with it and carry on with life like normal and like they don't like you the way they do that's what I try to do. Hope this helps :)

    I go have a gf the whole things confusing how a girl that kicked me in my boys wants to have a baby know we've been in a relationship for about 8 years now starting on the augeast 15 never thought of cheating

    Count yourself lucky it means your cute for somereson nurds are dump in relation ships I'm a mix of the two I relly am I'm not a smart jerk I'm a decent looking caring person I dont get a lot of girls because they go for the good looking jerks not guys they could actially have a relation ship not a dump guys quest for booty

    OH YEAH, well im pretty nerdy, i only attract girl that i would never work out, or ones the it would work out if they actually lived anywhere near me. i serious, everyone of my relationships that weren't long distance, alway crash and burn, miserably.... =(

    Maybe you are very attractive and other nerd guys can tell that you're a nice person since you talk to them. I remember that me and my nerd buddies knew each other but not our friends. Maybe they talk about you to their nerd friends. However, I don't see the problem in having a nerd like you, they usually tend to be the nice guys who have interesting things to say.
