Is it normal that i ask guys out?

You know how it is..."The guy should be the one who makes the first move." Well for some reason I've never liked that because I end up getting asked out by guys I'm not even attracted to. So, since I realized that, I started asking guys out. For example, when I see a smart, polite, cute, tall-guy I invite him out to eat, hang out, etc. and after so long of getting to know the guy and if I feel something for him then I ask him out(want to be my boyfriend?). I've done it for the past four years and its been great[: because I actually get to know and be with men that I am attracted to but although its been great, my friends think that I'm a total weirdo! =(
What do you guys think? Am I? And if ur a guy, would you feel uncomfortable if a girl asks you out? (The men I've dated and asked said no but maybe they were playing nice...)

    Sounds great to me. If a girl asks you out, at least you know she likes you. Women generally make the first move anyway. It's just normally a small, subtle move that most men are oblivious of.

    I have been asked out twice by other women, and loved it! Both were younger than I, so i would have never made the first move, one ended up being the love of my life. I think its wonderful that you do it.

    I honestly don't see an issue with it and if it's working for you then does it really matter what anyone else thinks?
    I've known women who do it, don't really think it's all that bizarre..
    Besides if you wait for the guy to make the move, not that he necessarily will, he may never approach due to being intimidated or just plain shy.
    You're a take control kind of girl that seems to have a lot of confidence, most guys like that; so keep doing what you're doing.

    That's completely normal, I'm actually one of those weird guys that like when women take charge, so it's cool for the girl to ask the guy out.

    I do this all the time it guarantees I get numbers of people I actually like Men love it too but that's not to say once I get there number/attention I do let them do the rest I.e organise dates call me ect. But honestly I don't think I can do it any other way i enjoy it and get off on the chase ;-)

    it shouldent matter who makes the first move, as long as it happens. I would have no problem with a girl asking me out, especialy because i have trouble reading body language.

    I think you are rare, but I believe it is somewhat normal. It is great to run up on someone like yourself, expecially when it is under these conditions of being pursued. Don't ever change and you just may get what you want out of life! Good luck with your choices!

    Fact: This is true, if you lived in the 80s or early 90s. Not so much anymore. In fact, back in the 30s and 40s, women used to ask men out all the time.

    So yes, completely normal :-)
