Whenever I bump into like a random object I always say sorry and then walk on. I don't know if it's just like force of habit for when I actually run into people or what but I always do it when I run into something inanimate. Does anyone else do this?
I do that. And if I am in a store and saying I don't like something, like a shirt, that my mom is trying to buy for me I feel bad to say in front of the shirt that I don't like it. I know that's weird isn't it
I know, right? Same here. I own a lot of stuffed animals too that lie on my bed and i make a point to divide them into 2 groups. One goes in my chair and i tuck them in with my spare blanket so it`s cozy for them to sleep and the other group sleeps with me. But then i feel bad for the ones that sleep in my chair, so i apologize and switch them sometimes.
Haha I do the same. And always when I was little whenever I would pick out a toy to play with I would feel bad for the ones I didn't pick and promise I would play with them lol. And now (I'm 16) I have like 6 really big stuffed animals I keep on my bed and I pick a different one each night to sleep next to me because I feel like they kind of get jealous haha...
not quite what i do but i feel like dolls and things with eyes like photographs are really alive (but i'm on medication for it and other stuff)
it's hard if i put a doll or toy somewhere where it might be uncomfortable and i feel like i'm hurting it so i have to make it comfortable. it's like a really strong fetishism from africa or something.
i think 'normal' is a false measure anyway. it was 'normal' to hate jews in hitler's germany in the 1920's. didn't make it right
I do that too without realizing. To furniture and sometimes when I accidentally drop a stuffed animal, I feel bad like it got hurt or something.

I always wonder if the walls in my house could speak. Would they hate me for throwing stuff at them?
The funniest part is when you bump into a piece of furniture and apologize to it.
Everyone does it, it's nopt only normal but polite too. LOL but yeah it's normal.
I work in a store (I know, go me!) and will rotate new stock to the back, even with items that have no sell-by date. I do this because I would feel bad for the stock already on the shelf that has been 'waiting' to be bought.
I do this too x3 Only, with my IPod, I get mad at it for closing the app... But I apologize to our couches and our pets for running into them xD
