Is it normal that i answered this way?
So, you know that old Family Guy episode where Peter, Quagmire, Joe, and Cleveland are stranded on an island, and they're asking questions like they usually do in the Drunken Clam? And the punchline is when Peter asks, "Would you rather be black, or crippled?"
I, being bored, thought this through. Being crippled, I'd still be me- I'd still look the same, and my family would be the same. I'd still have the same heritage, and the same ethnic background. If I was an African-American, my whole family would be different. It wouldn't be bad, but it would be different, and it would probably change the way I'd be viewed. So in that sense, I'd rather be crippled.
Was it racist for me to have answered that way?
