Is it normal that i am very attracted to my college professor?
After doing a little bit of searching on this website, I read a few of the is it normal questions regarding professor/student crushes and relationships. However, none of them really answered my curiosity.
So, I am a 20 year old female and I have a crush on my 45 year old professor. It wasn't his looks, obviously not his youth, and it wasn't his sense of humor that initially caught my attention. It was his intelligence. He is so unbelievably smart. He is passionate about his teachings. He teaches forensic classes. But, when he speaks I am just awe struck by his knowledge. I find myself just staring at him and smiling all the time. Sometimes are eyes will meet, and when they do we kind of gaze at each other for awhile. But I am known for over thinking things.
He is not married and does not have kids. He actually mentioned that randomly in class one day when talking about a story.
Anyway, I do believe it is just a "crush." But, I think of him a lot now. Sexually and platonically. I wonder if he would ever be interested in me? I guess the bigger question I am getting at besides if this is normal is do older professors crush on their younger female students? What is the chance they would actually make a move?
