So my boyfriend of a year and a half talks to some girl that he told me likes him I told him to stop talking to her and he did for like a month but then things between us got bad, so he started talking to her again. We argued often about this which led to other small arguments. So point is we've been non-stop fighting for a month now.
I don't know what to do anymore, I wanna be with him but it's so hard. He's always been a little hard headed and I can't deal with this non-stop fighting and I feel like I'm losing him. I've apologize but he just takes advantage of it and never listens to me.
HELP!

    Of course it's normal I tell my Bf not to talk to people all the time!. He doesn't always listen, but I trust him. Without trust there would be no love. Can you trust him?.

      I don't know if I should trust him anymore, he never listens to me either when I tell him to stop talking to certain girls!

    Chances are a lotta girls like him, just as almost every living thing that's straight and has a dick wouldn't mind taking you for a spin. Doesn't mean you'll let it happen, no?

    If you really think he's gonna cheat then you're wasting your time and should probably break it off till your self confidence / ability to trust rises a few bars.

    For the moment i'ts best to just take it as it is on the table. A guy talking to a girl. Assuming more than you know and controlling his social activities is gonna do a lot more damage than she ever could.

    It's not really a good idea to tell someone who they can and can't talk to because unless the person is has no spine he or she will see it as a challenge and feel compelled to go against your wishes. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that he's cheating on you or is contemplating cheating on you with this girl. I agree with Peter in that I think you should dump your boyfriend, cut your losses and move on with your life.

    I am curious however, as to why your boyfriend even told you about this girl to begin with; it's and insecure douchebag move on his part. I can't help but wonder as to whether or not he gets off on your jealousy. Some people are so insecure that they don't feel good about themselves unless someone is jealous over them. This all sounds like too much drama to me. I suspect you'd be better off alone. You can tell him what he can and can't do until you're blue in the face but please try to understand that you are powerless over his thoughts, emotions and actions.

      He constantly tells me about girls that like him and text him and tell him he's cute and even shows me messages and like I sometimes tell him when guys tell me I'm cute and he won't even want to hear it like he'll cut me off. I don't know why he does this any ideas?

        He sounds like an insecure jerk with a chip on his shoulder who is trying to prove something. Perhaps, you could do better with someone else?
