    Here's the best tip.

Don't go on a fast, or a diet. Your body goes into starvation mode and conserves energy more. Meaning you do not burn much fat.

You have to start with a lifestyle change. Start eating healthy. You can start by avoiding Soda, and fast food. That's step 1. Then you can limit your sugar, eat more vegetables. You can substitute honey as sugar, or fruits as sugar. Eat Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. And then healthy snack two times a day whenever you feel like it. So in total you eat 5 times a day.

If you gain weight, you probably gained muscle. You will still loose fat. It's okay, don't panic. It's a good thing. You can still achieve the lean look.

If you're healthy, then I promise you losing weight will not be a problem. Diets, and quick fixes do not work.

It's always funny to see girls who strive to lose some weight. I do nothing and my weight remains around 105lbs. Actually I'm the tiny type and moreover my eating habits are rather good. I never say no to chocolate though. However I think that skinny girls are not attractive.

It's normal to want to be thin and healthy. It is not normal or healthy to fast. It is dangerous and will actually backfire. To your body, fasting means that there is no food available. Therefore, it does into survival mode and your metabolism slows. Thus making it even harder to lose weight.
The real key is to eat a well-balanced diet and to count calories. There are no short cuts that work. See a doctor or nutritionist to find out how many calories a day you should get.

    It's common, yes.

But it's not normal and it's not healthy.

Nobody thinks a very skinny girl is attractive except herself.
You know damn well that the answer to your question is no, yet you asked it. So you know you need professional help for eating disorders ASAP or you will do irreversible damage to you body and quite possibly die soon.
    Nough said!

It is very normal to want to have the image of being thin. But it everyone can have it. There are three primary body types: endomorph, ectomorph, and mesomorph. The endomorph is naturally meant to have excess fatty tissue. It is very good to workout, but over doing it, can be damaging. You are only suppose to work out each muscle group every other day. If you have had a history of anorexia or bulimia or any eating disorder, it is best if you see a professional on it. Fasting is not a way to loose weight. It is robbing ur body of nutrients to ur cells. Instead of burning fat, you will be burning muscle away. Please, if this becomes extreme talk to someone. I am here if you need me.
