Is it normal that i am in love with a man 12 years older than me?

The guy I'm in love with is my best friend's roommate that she shares an apartment with, along with her boyfriend and their son. We see each other every single day and usually spend about three hours together. He is 30 and I am 18. I am pretty sure he has feelings for me, due to the way he acts around me. For example, he watches me from their big window in their living room to make sure I get to my car okay every night. The fact that he is so much older than me makes me nervous to even try talking to him about it.

Age doesn't matter if the two people are met for each other.

He will influence your development to the point that he will become a parent to you. By then being intimate will be disturbing.

Nothing wrong with the age difference, but if he wanted more than to just look at your ass, he would have walk you to the car and opened the door for you, like a gentleman. Take your time, love takes lots of time.

12 years isn't really all that much. My wife is quite a bit more than 12 years younger than I am, yet it is the best relationship I've ever been in.
Go for it, what have you got to lose in contrast to what you might gain?
