Is it normal that i am highly attracted to someone who self harms?

so i used to dat this guy when i was quite young and ive recently gotten back in touch with him through a friend. now first i self harm! and i would concider myself emo. i found out that this guy self harms as well and his hair is now very emo. i am all of a sudden very very attracted to him i think hes hot hes so sexy and omg i swear, i want him!!
i wanna know is it normal that i find him attractive now that i know he self harms?

    I think all girls like a badboy but one with stab wounds is not going to get me in the mood....maybe if hes been shot....that could be hot.

    You mentioned that you had an issue with self-harming yourself. You probably are attracted to the fact that he has a similar issue as you because you feel you can understand each other better. With that said, it would be hard for either of you to recover if you guys both have the same issue.

    I suppose it's normal for brooding Emo types to be attracted to this self mutilation behavior but self mutilation especially cutting as well as suicidal ideation are signs of mental illness particularly major depression and Borderline Personality Disorder. I'm not making any accusation just sharing information.

    you are probably attracted to his edginess, young women are often attracted to an element of danger or bad boy behaviour. You say you are emo, so you've no doubt seen a bit of yourself in him. He may have some deep issues though, so proceed with caution, it may be best not to get involved.

    What is this shit that I just read... The Pseudo-English just went and assaulted my face.

    This reminds me of getting coffee from Starbucks even though I know it's going to mess my stomach up.
