Every time I hear my sister snort, if someone is congested and makes that breathes in with mucus in there, it ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTS me!!! IIN?
I had a friend who got grossed out when I did this. She would tell me to blow my nose. The problem was that all that created was painful ear popping.
The odd thing was that she would leave her snot rags everywhere and found nothing gross about that.
Me too, unfortunately.
I know someone who lets their nose run down their face instead of blowing. Then, when it's accumulated a lot in his goatee, he calls the dog over and gets the dog to lick him clean!
It makes me want to throw up.
You just have to get used to it. Generally, no one makes these sounds on purpose. They do it because they don't have a choice. You might end up making these sounds someday if you have nose congestion. It is quite natural. Tolerance is what you need to have.
