I am an engineer graduate and I just got engaged with a girl who just entered in 12th standard. Our marriage would be after 4 to 6 years. So, Is this age gap is normal? Will there be generation gap?
My wife is 42 years my junior and this is by far the easiest and best relationship I've ever had. Once you are adults, I really don't think age is an important factor, and at least in our case, the difference may very well be part of the reason we get along so well.
yeah 5 years isn't so bad. It really depends on the girl as to whether there is a generation gap. Sometimes the younger in a relationship is quite naive and uncultured due to lack of experience or sometimes they have come of age from an early age so the generation gap in that case wouldn't be so significant.
My fiancee is 8 years my senior. It's nothing. Before me he has dated women who were up to 10 years older than him, now he is with me he says he prefers a younger woman. 5 years age difference at your age is nothing.

Depends on the age. 30 & 35 is practically nothing. 10 & 15 is. The whole "age is just a number" concept only works when you're older.
