Is it normal that i am german, but am a greek at heart?

I am German and have no connections to Greece whatsoever. However, I am so fascinated with Greek history and culture, that I start adopting the viewpoints of a Greek. I no longer exhibit as much pride for Germany as I now do for Greece. Is this normal?

I have always thought it would be fantastic to be Irish. I envy their ability to love their country no matter what. And when a lovely Irish lass speaks in that accent, I am instantly in LOVE!

I've got a bit of quiet a few different cultures running through my veins and I'm proud of each of them; but that doesn't mean I'm not alowed to show pride for other cultures that I'm into why should you?

I'm American but I've felt connected to Eygpt so I understand where you're coming from.

I think it's normal. You might have ancient connections to Greece. Never know. I feel a connection to my Hungarian and English roots, so I know what you mean.
