Is it normal that i am disgusted with myself when i have my period?

Whenever I get mine I am disgusted with myself...Is it normal? I just started getting it last year, so this might have something to do with it?

    Yes, but you can get used to it. I got mine 7 years ago, and the first year I wasn't that used to it, but it eventually got into a normal habit, I guess. It means your egg has formed, so you can...yeah. Rather than gross, it's actually one of the most important events in a female's life.

    Why are you disgusted with yourself? You should be disgusted with your period. It is pretty gross. Before I was on birth control, mine was just so heavy and painful for the first three days. I just wanted to punch it in the face.

        Well, I'll bet if u try tampons you'll not feel so gross. i usually use them, when i use pads i feel like you describe. with tampons you feel nothing, not with pads where u feel like ur wearing a diaper.

    I'm sort of disgusted at myself when i sneeze. Sneezing is disgusting. Humans can be very disgusting creatures sometimes :P
