Is it normal that i am constantly compared to a cat?

My father is always noticing my mistakes. Always. And he often times will draw comparisons between me and the cat, Jacko.

Example:

I ACCIDENTALLY knock over an ornament(an urn, ash everywhere, besides the point). Dad comes in, sees the ornament laying on the ground with it's contents scattered throughout the room after being dispersed by the desk fan it fell onto.

Dad: You little son of a bitch! How could you be so stupid?

Me: It was an accident!

Dad: You were an accident! I spilled my sperm in the same uncoordinated way that you spilled your great grandfathers ashes, so I suppose you got it from me!

I start crying.

Dad: No no, it's my fault, for passing on the clumsy gene. I knew I should have pulled out.

Then comes the J-bomb as I call it:

Dad: Jacko is a better son than you!

Is this normal? It happens often. Very often. Jacko is his pride and joy it seems. Sometimes I find him in the chair with Jacko at night, lights off, just lit by the dim street lights entering the window. He has Jacko in his arms and whispers gently to him about how he wish for Jacko to become human.

K guys thanks. This is my first post. Hope I get some good replies.

I think your dad just were emotional since you knocked over the urn. Don't dwell so much over it.

I prefer metal urns to ceramic ones. If I dropped the one with my cat Duncan's ashes in it the urn would break a bone in my foot before spilling his ashes, and that's how I like it.
